Hi, I'm Raquel — a professional dog trainer with over 8 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. My journey with dogs started as a deep love for animals, and over the years, it’s grown into a lifelong passion for helping them live happier, more balanced lives through training and communication.

Working with dogs isn't just a career for me — it's something I genuinely care about. I believe that every dog deserves a chance to thrive, and that starts with understanding their needs, building trust, and creating structure through positive, relationship-based training. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a dog grow more confident, calm, and connected to their people.

Whether I’m helping a puppy build good habits, guiding a reactive dog toward better behavior, or teaching a rescue how to feel safe again, my mission is always the same: to support both dogs and their humans in building stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

Meet Delta & Minnie – My Training Partners and Inspiration

Every dog trainer has a story, and mine begins with a dog who changed my life forever.

Before Delta and Minnie came into the picture, I raised and worked with a mastiff who had severe behavioral issues — fear-based reactivity, aggression, and deep-rooted anxiety that many considered “unfixable.” He challenged me in every way and ultimately shaped the trainer I am today. His journey pushed me to grow, to study canine behavior more deeply, and to advocate for the dogs who are so often misunderstood. He is the reason I do what I do — and every dog I help is, in part, because of him.

Delta was raised alongside that mastiff and witnessed the ups and downs of his rehabilitation. From an early age, she learned how to exist calmly around unstable energy, developing an intuitive understanding of other dogs’ boundaries and needs. Today, Delta plays a steady, grounding role in my training work. Her calm, neutral energy has a powerful influence on the dogs around her, especially those dealing with reactivity, anxiety, or overstimulation. She doesn't overstep — she simply leads by example.

Minnie is my behavioral girl with a big heart. She has her own sensitivities and quirks, but through her journey, she’s become one of my most helpful dogs when working with shy or fearful pups. Minnie has a way of gently encouraging nervous dogs to come out of their shell — through playful invitations or quiet companionship. Her presence helps create a safe, low-pressure environment where healing and growth can happen.

Together, Delta and Minnie are more than just my companions — they are essential parts of the work I do. They support me every step of the way and help bring out the best in the dogs that come into our care. They carry forward the legacy of the dog who started it all — reminding me daily of the power of patience, understanding, and second chances.
